CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop Embossing Folders

CTMH Featured Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop. This week our featured
product is (Embossing Folders).

If you have just joined us you can start here and continue on, as this is a circular hop or if
you get lost along the way you can start at the beginning

with Annette  http://littlecropshop.blogspot.ca/2016/03/ctmh-featured-products-blog-hop.html

If you came here from  Catherine    http://catscrapbooking.com/2016/03/02/technique-blog-hop-embossing-folders/you are in the right place.

Close to My Heart now has 15 Embossing Folders. Many great designs. These are just a few.

Now on to my project:
My project is a 2 page layout. I started with one page and decided to do two but I don't think they really go together other than they are from the same paper pack. I don't know, just me maybe.
Anyway, this is a layout for our very first grand baby who will be arriving in the next few weeks. We are very excited.
I used the Georgie paper pack to make a soft baby layout with the Georgia Complements as well.
I used the 3 embossing folders that I have to give some texture to the pages.

I used the recipe from p. 122 in the Annual Inspirations for my inspiration. I used Champagne, Whisper and Crystal Blue cardstock. The overlay in Whisper is from Artbooking.
Sweet Little Boy is from a Cricut subscription with my Explore. Welcome is an Artbooking Font, I think. I'm not really sure how to figure out the fonts for my CTMH cartridges on Explore.
Little One is from Artbooking. The little buttons are popped up with 3D tape.

I used the same colors of cardstock as in the first page. I filled in some of the spaces in the overlay from Artbooking with the colors of cardstock and the paper pack. I used 2 of the embossing folders for this one. Using one for the border for the photo. The buttons from the complements are popped up with 3D tape as well.
I used the zip strip to kind of join the two pages together.

Thank you for checking out my projects. If you would like to purchase our featured product of the week or any additional supplies you can buy them here (corinnamurphy.ctmh.com). If you enjoyed my project please comment below as we love feedback!

  1. This is a fabulous layout, Corinna! Between the colors, the embellishments, embossing, and Cricut cuts, there is so much visual interest. What a great way to celebrate your first grandchild, and congrats to your whole family!
