Hearts of the West December blog hop

I made many cards for my Oil Wives Craft and Bake Sale but I just started making some for myself to send out. This is the beginning.
I used the CTMH Snowhaven paper pack, D1625 Snowhaven cardmaking Workshop stamp set and Snowhaven Complements, ruby and whisper cardstock, silver shimmer trim, CTMH sparkles and bitty sparkles.
Ruby, Slate and Whisper inks.
Edged card with Whisper, stamped snowflakes with slate,used pop dots to raise the complements tag.

Christmas cards for an annual craft & bake sale

Well it's 40 days until Christmas. I've been working on Christmas cards for a craft and bake sale that we do every November for an Oil Wives group I am part of.
Thanks to all the great card makers that shared their beautiful card ideas.
Some are my own creation.
Some of the supplies I used were from Close to My Heart, others from Michael's and online stores.

I did a mini album for our Oil Wives craft and bake sale in November.

C1567 Santa Claus Holiday Some of these may be discontinued.
Posh Journaling Spots are in the while supplies last
Hook & Loop dots
Red Stickles glitter glue from Michaels
Recollections pearls, glitter brads, pop dots from Michaels

I dont have it totally completed but its close.
All items that are edged are in Ruby and New England Ivy.
The journaling spot was cut down smaller and hook & loop dot added.
Lots of areas to put pictures and journaling.

July Hearts of the West Blog hop

Multifold Baby Album

First off I would like to thank One Scraptastic Grandma for her inspiration for my album. Her blog is inspiring. Amazing projects.
I had great fun making the album for a friend and I love, love CTMH baby cakes papers.
These are the materials I used.
Most of the materials are from CTMH unless otherwise stated.

I edged almost everything in Chocolate Exclusive Ink
and sanded the front chocolate paper piece as well as the back cover.

Making the fold out album was a lot of trial and error for me but I did figure out a way that works for me.

I've made a simple Thankyou card.

I used all the colors in our color challenge from CTMH. I sanded the edges and front of the card.

I edged everything in CTMH Gypsy exclusive inks and the embellishment is also from CTMH Triangle studs

Exciting news! My oldest son got engaged on the weekend. I am over the MOON!!
This is the engagement card I made.

Gypsy cardstock from Close to My Heart

Shimmery silver cardstock from Michaels-recollections I think

I embossed it with Birds and Swirls-Cricut Cuttlebug embossing folder

and the bottom was polka dot cuddlebug border embossing folder.

I placed a purple polka dot ribbon-recollections to join them.

Sparkle flourishes from Close to My Heart were added and a few single sparkles added randomly.

The oval was cut out from 2" recollections punch then stamped from B1418-Love Doily Occasions-Close to My Heart with a few sparkles added to the edge. The card and the oval were sponged with Smokey Plum from Close to My Heart.

I next offered to help make invitations if it was needed and she said yes. So these are the samples I sent to them. Hopefully they will give them some inspiration,

Silver shimmer cardstock- Michaels

Bazzill-Passionate cardstock embossed with Bit of Paisley-Cricut Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Computer printed invite on the shimmery silver cardstock, off white Celebrate It lace ribbon wrapped around it. Hemp twine tied on with a Brides antique heart key from Michaels and a tag with To My Heart. Its hand done but I would type it if I was actually making them.

This one starts with Whisper cardstock from Close to My Heart and the Passionate cardstock printed from the computer but the picture doesn't sem to show the true color. It is wrapped in the same lace ribbon and has the three squares in Whisper and edged with Hollyhock from Close to My Heart.

The sand dollar and starfish are Sealife treasures from Mchaels.

The whisper cardstock base was embossed with Cuttlebug Wicker Weave border on two edges.

This one is Silver cardstock base with passionate cardstock next then CTMH Whisper cardstock computer printed. The burlap ribbon is from CTMH with Grey Metallic Bakers Twine from CTMH and the sealife treasures and a random shell from the dollar store.

This one is the favorite of a few people. The Passionate cardstock is embossed with the Cuttlebug Wicker Weave embossing folder. The siver cardtock is stamped with the doily from B1418-Love Doily Occasions from CTMH then I computer printed the invite on Vellum from Michaels, wrapped it in the hemp twine with a tag also stamped from B1418 and the sealife treaures from Michaels.

Hope these will inspire someone.
